Outlaws Run 2022. Act 1: A long drive South, our first night in Texas and some time exploring the Blue Creek OHV area

After a long drive South, passing through Oklahoma for the first time, we finally made it into Texas. After a quick full stop, we continued on to camp. Our pal Martin was there with a fire going, having found a nice spot close to Lake Meredith earlier that day. After a fun night around the campfire, we set out the next day to explore Lake Meredith and surrounding area. While heading to meet some more friends in Fritch, TX, we stopped and checked out the Blue Creek OHV area. A fun spot indeed. Once in Fritch, we stopped for some BBQ then headed out to find camp for the night.

Most of the group for the long drive South. My pal Martin left a few days earlier from Iowa and our friend Matt would be joining up with us at camp later that night.

Lots of driving.

First time crossing into Oklahoma. We crossed through the panhandle to get to Texas.

Some moody light as we crossed into Oklahoma.

First time crossing into Texas:). Still a bit of driving to do from here.

Finally at camp. Martin found a great spot for us. Though might had been a few beers deep since he got to camp so early:).

Views from camp the next morning.

Lake Meredith.

It was a wind day at Lake Meredith!

Stopped to take in the views.

My pal Martin in hi clean FJ-60.

We spent a little bit of time exploring the Blue Creek OHV area. Fun times.

One of my favorite shots from the trip. Ralston and his nicely built 80 series.
