Bill Moore Lake. August, 2014

For a few years now, A friend from the Club, Jeff Zepp, has been leading a post Rising Sun Rally run to Bill Moore Lake. A fun moderate trail just outside Dumont, CO. I joined Jeff for a fun post Rally August run to Bill Moore Lake back in 2014, knowing it’s been a while since i’ve been on that trail. A fun day to get out in the hills with good friends.

Some good morning light and old mines as we start out on the trail.

A fun section of trail, especially for the newbies.

‘Ol Skelator. A fun rig to wheel. Now back in the midwest.

Starting to climb higher up in elevation.

At 11,354ft, it’s a fine spot for an afternoon rest.

An old cabin at Bill Moore Lake.

I parted ways with the group early to get back home at a decent hour and ready for work the next day.
