Finally, a night at the cabin

Once up to the property and soaking it in, I realized I left my memory cards at home. So you’ll have to bare with me in this post for just pics from the camera. Either way, it felt great to get up to the cabin for a night.

My pal Dan from the club joined me for the evening and we took a drive around the property, ending up at the Wilderness Boundary with Mt. Blue Sky. We made a stop at my favorite Tree, then some time wondering around. After the dry winter, a little scary to see the forest so dry, and so much fallen trees from the last few windstorms. Hopefully some good spring moisture to help. After wandering around the property I settled into the cabin for the night. The next morning, loaded up ad back downtown.

Hope/plan to spend a lot more time up at the cabin this summer.

Afternoon views of Mt. Blue Sky.

From the Cabin

A stop at my favorite tree:).

A stop at the wilderness boundary. Lots of new deadfall from some recent windstorms.

Always have to make a visit to the pond.
