For Thursdays tailride, the first full day of Cruise Moab, I rode along for Deadman’s Spring. Located off 313 and on the way to Deadhorse Point, it’s a Fairley mild trail with a few ledges here and there to keep your attention. You have some great views of both my beloved Henry Mountains and the La Sal’s. The overlook provides some great vistas of the Green River. Unfortunately, I and one other had to break off early to make it back in time for Vendor Night. So we didn’t get to run the whole trail this time.

Vendor Night was a big success. The Spanish Trails arena was full, and people all night were checking things out. The poster I made up for this years Cruise Moab, did well in sales. I was able to get around and check out some of the vendors. After Vendor Night, it was back to camp at the arena grounds. Always fun to see everyone there for the event.
