I originally planned to get up to the cabin for my birthday (12/04), but ended up laying low after a long dentist visit the Friday before. So instead, I headed up the weekend after. It was nice to get away from the downtown noise for a night. Had a bit of time to enjoy the property, then got a fire going in the winter quarters- always relaxing. Got up at my normal time for work (2am) and drove down to work. The moon was bright enough to drive out of the property with no lights:). Definitely a much needed visit!
